We’re Samuel and Maria — a mother and son team with a shared passion for animals and nearly 20 years of experience in the pet grooming industry. In October 2024, we officially registered Calm Specialty Grooming with the State of California to bring gentle, high-quality grooming services to Alpine and surrounding communities.

Do you use kennels or cages?

No. We are 100% kennel-free and offer express services, so your pet is groomed immediately upon arrival and sent home promptly after.
What types of pets do you groom?

We primarily groom dogs of all breeds and sizes. For specific requests, especially for special-needs pets, feel free to contact us first.
What does "express grooming" mean?

It means your pet isn’t waiting around for their turn. Their grooming begins shortly after drop-off, minimizing stress and time away from home.
Can I stay with my pet during grooming?

For safety reasons, owners typically cannot stay during grooming. However, we’re happy to answer any questions before your appointment to ensure peace of mind.
Do you take walk-ins?

Appointments are preferred, but we may accommodate walk-ins depending on availability. Please call ahead to check.
